THE PUNISHER VEST

This Punisher vest was 3D modeled in Blender directly on top of reference images from "Netflix's The Punisher." The 3D model was sized to fit a digital mannequin that had all of my measurements. It was unfolded to create sewable patterns.

 

Ballistic nylon was used to sew the front and back bodices. All of the armor pieces were made separately by covering EVA foam in the same ballistic nylon material and sewing detailed topstitching. By examining the reference photos gathered, the vest was deconstructed layer by layer and assembled accordingly.

 

Lastly, custom clips and fasteners were 3D modeled and printed that were accurate to the ones used in the show. The skull was hand-painted by lining up where each feature met each panel for maximum accuracy.
